The LRF is committed to educating Livestock Farmers, emerging through to stud, to improve their farming enterprises and to become more profitable. One of the LRF Council’s initiatives for educating livestock breeders is the annual LRF Stockman School. The Stockman School has become a leader in training and educating stud and commercial farmers with regards to the latest trends and technologies used worldwide in the livestock industry. About 200 participants attend the school each year.
The theme for this years’s LRF Stockmans School is: Building a Profitable Cow Herd. The event will take place from the 12th – 14th of October 2022 at Aldam Holiday Resort near Ventersburg in the Free State, South Africa.
