The Society received a number of requests in the last breeders meeting to make someone available to assist breeders with the capturing and submitting of data to the Simbra office. It has been brought to our attention that some breeders have mating lists, and weigh forms and other important data that have not been submitted or are not being submitted to the office because of the additional administrative pressure that it puts on breeders. For the Simbra Society to be able to provide the best possible service to our breeders ALL of this information is extremely important, from genetic evaluations to construction of sales catalogues we want to be working at maximum efficiency – to do this we need to be receiving the data timeously and in the correct formats.
On that note, it is with great pleasure that we welcome Karlien Strydom to the Simbra team. Karlien has experience in various administrative fields, and data capturing, and she assisted the Simbra “Taakspan” from 2019 to 2020 with various duties where she gained insights into the Simbra breed and the administrative aspects relating to the breeder’s society. Karlien will be available to all breeders to assist with any such admin. She will accept data submissions in any format (Whatsapp or Email) and will ensure that the office receives it in the right format and on time, and help you, as breeder stay up to date with your admin. If you wish to make use of these services, she will invoice the society at an hourly rate, and the society will in turn invoice the respective breeder.
