Royal Show 2023

The royal show took place from 26 May to 4 June 2023 in Pietermaritzburg. The KZN Sim Club hosted both the Simbra and Simmentaler breeds at their Royal showground’s clubhouse for the last time.  The KZN Sim Club did a fantastic job with all stalls being organised, all meals and drinks supplied and even supplying two meals for handlers.  A heartfelt thank you to Byron and Chantel Watson and their committee for a memorable show at your club.  The Simbras were judged by Org Mare, Chris Richter and Fanie Mare JNR, thank you to the judges for your dedication and brilliant judging.  The Royal Show held its last show after its inception in 1851, 172 years ago, and being Africa’s largest mixed Agricultural show.
