Lichtenburg Show 2024: Celebrating Excellence in Simbra Breeding

The Lichtenburg Show 2024 was a resounding success, showcasing the finest Simbra cattle from top breeders across the region. This year’s event, judged by the esteemed Willemien Pieterse and Willie Jacobs, highlighted the exceptional quality and dedication of breeders who participated.

We extend our sincere thanks to the breeders who entered their remarkable animals into the show: GPC Simbras, Kuha Simbras, JacMar Simbras, Reggeraai Simbras, and Schubra Simbras. Their commitment to excellence was evident in every category, making the competition both inspiring and fiercely contested.

Female Results

The Female division saw Reggeraai Qhara crowned Calf Champion, with Kuha Dina taking the Reserve Champion title. JacMar Bailey earned the Junior Champion title, while Schubra Cleo claimed Reserve. Among seniors, JacMar Jenna swept the competition, winning Senior Champion and ultimately being crowned Breed Champion, with Reggeraai Qhara as Reserve.

Male Results

In the Male division, Reggeraai Max was named Calf Champion, with Reggeraai Dikgat as Reserve. GPC 2224 dominated the Junior category, earning the Junior Champion and Breed Champion titles, while JacMar Baxter and Reggeraai Max secured Reserve positions in their respective categories.

Interbreed Highlights

Interbreed accolades included JacMar Jenna as Senior Champion Female, while Reggeraai Qhara and Reggeraai Max claimed Reserve Calf Champion titles in the Female and Male categories, respectively.
